When you describe your goals, is your spirit filled with untethered enthusiasm? 🙌 😆

What about when you look around at your current situation?

Do you ever experience what I often call “the great deflation”? 😩

✋ Confession…I do. My “great delations” are marked by every ounce of motivation being sucked right out of me. What is your experience?

Setbacks, almost, detours, holding patterns… they can cause all sorts of havoc on our momentum and ultimately our success.

Last week I had the most amazing conversation with a successful entrepreneur, Heather Lewis, MS MFT about this topic. It is clear that Heather is an amazing human being and deeply passionate about the work she does with youth in her community. Her business Humble Beginnings (https://lnkd.in/gCWTy29Y) provides a variety of services that are so needed. If your life and or work has young people in it I encourage you to connect with Heather. She is full of amazing resources that can support their future success.

I am grateful for Heather and our professional self-care conversation because it reminded me I was not alone. We shared stories and tips for how to lean into and own every part of our journey not just the rosy future.

🌟 Growth is not always linear friends.

🌟 Success doesn’t happen at the exclusion of setbacks, almost, detours..

🌟 Your journey IS as important as the destination.

⏸ (Pause) and 🤔 (Ponder) —> What amazing things might happen if you embraced your setbacks, almost, detours, holding patterns… with untethered enthusiasm?
